French children playing online video games for the first time with help or alone 2020
When French children between the ages of 10 and 17 were asked if they had played online video games alone or with the help of someone else when they did it for the first time, the majority of children aged 10 to 14 reported having done it with the help of an adult. For the age group 15 to 17, the responses were fairly equaly distributed with a tendency of getting help from an adult (34 percent) or doing it alone (35 percent). When the parents of children were asked the same question, the youngest were more supervised by adults for their first online games
