Rakuten Insight in Hong Kong in 2023 on social commerce, around 61 percent of female respondents who purchased things on social media before answered that they bought clothes. With around 50 percent of female respondents and 46 percent of male respondents, food, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks were the second most common type of products people bought via social media.
According to a survey conducted by
