Subscription commerce transactions with APM worldwide 2022, by vertical

In 2022, subscriptions to digital media and entertainment platforms had the highest share of transactions (23 percent) done with alternative payment methods such as Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), and Venmo. The education industry and consumer goods and retail industry followed with 17.5 percent and 16.1 percent, respectively.
