Museum attendance in France 2022

Attendance at national museums and monuments in France bounced back in 2022, following a sharp decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. That said, while the number of visits to national monuments caught up with pre-pandemic levels, attendance at national museums remained below the peak in admissions from 2019, totaling roughly 28.5 million in 2022.
