Precooked meals were the most consumed gluten-free product in Spain in households in 2022, with a consumption volume of 21 percent of the total consumption of gluten-free food, closely followed by dairy products and meat. The annual expenditure in gluten-free products in Spain was more than three times the same spending on wheat food in 2022.
